Mukuro was really not used to being noticed. She jumped, straightening up instantly at a voice-- and a splitsecond after seeing him she dropped into a more defensive posture, and it took all her self control not to whip her knife out as well. This was a clothing shop. It was normal for people to chat, right? Even if they were very tall and rough looking. She tried to settle her breathing, giving him a longer look as she attempted (and probably failed) to adopt a more normal and relaxed stance.
"...Right," she finally said, rather lamely, glancing awkwardly at the clearly unsuitable clothes around her. She had no idea what she'd been thinking. She wasn't thinking very well at all right now. "Uh... sorry, I'm... new here?" She didn't really know how to describe the situation, though from what she'd gathered it probably wasn't as weird for him to hear as it was for her to say it.
She stood on her toes, peering around for the section more suitable to her, hands worrying at her tie again. This was becoming a bad habit. "...I hate shopping." And now she was talking to herself. Excellent.
