"Can't complain, I guess- I work, I get to eat, and I get my own space to live. It ain't home where I should be, but if these guys're so hard up for giving energy back to the city, then I'll go shake a few hands and call it a day, right?" It really was an odd feeling. He didn't like being here, yet he liked it here as well. He had independence, nobody treated him unwell for his hobbies or batted an eyelash; when you lived with so many strange people, it came with the territory.
"But there was that snowman thing last winter, and the whole, uh... animal thing a couple months ago..." Wait, he should back that up a little.
"Sometimes the city does weird shit to us, but for now they ain't real harmful? I mean, we got turned into animals once because some god 'chose us' or whatever, but then there was the rain that made us sing whatever songs we knew. The snowmen..." He looked unsure, scratching the back of his head and looking to the ceiling.
"Somebody hexed up some killer snowmen, and we don't know who brought 'em to life. Still tryin' to figure that out."
