Here's some prompts to help you get started, if you need it:

Option 1

[The mid-summer rays are beginning to subside at last, giving way to a few cooler breezes here and there as the sun begins to set and the moons rise in the sky. So what does that mean? Well, for the locals, it means it's time to begin preparations for the autumnal festival! The reds, oranges, and yellows take on a more rustic tone in the streets as the venders set up their outdoor marketplace stands, selling all kinds of treats and delicacies. From fresh corn and pretzels, to strange fruits that may look like those from home (although different in color, not taste), these vendors seem to have it all! Though in a few stands, it seems as though there are snacks and desserts meant to be split in two or shared with another. They also seem to be very fond of giving discounts to couples... Oh, my...]

Option 2

[Everything on the riverbank seems to be the norm for every other day: Vendors renting out innertubes for two, others selling ice cream and watermelon during the still warm days, and even a few water balloons still being tossed around or kept hidden nearby. At night, however, there seems to be a gathering at the water's edge as some hold little paper lanterns, aglow with small candles inside them as they gleam golden in the moonlight. The locals say that wishing on them as you let them float into the air brings you good luck, and makes that wish come true. But that's just a silly rumor, isn't it? At least it's pretty, along with the small candles floating on the water's surface...]

Option 3

[It doesn't matter where you are or what you were doing. All that matters is you've suddenly been hit with the chills (or did the temperature suddenly skyrocket?) and they don't seem to be going away just yet. Yep. Those wacky scientists seem to be at it again... At least it should pass soon, but whether it be chills or being far too hot, maybe you should...find someone else with this problem. After all, even the face of the medical community says that it will only be fixed by hugging or holding someone's hand.]

Option 4

[Whoops. Looks like you haven't taken the cautionary words of the other NPCs to heart, or maybe you just wanted to take your chances. Either way, the withdrawal symptoms have started and you need to find someone to hug quickly before you get even more sick.]

Option 5

[If there's something else you wanted to play with, that you didn't see here, then have fun with that. You've just arrived in a strange city, after all. There's got to be plenty to explore out and about, not to mention people to meet.]

[Funny that Madoka's biggest concerns have routed right back to talking to boys, despite her contract (even if her contract had been naive to begin with).]

No. You shouldn't.

[Not like Homura can talk to anyone properly. But she won't bring that up.]

[ Strange, why does Homura always offer to do those kind of things? It puzzles her, but since she's never been all that clever to start with, the question is dismissed quickly. ]

I should learn how to talk with them here. There's a large amount of them in this place.

[Homura shrugs and glances back at the stand briefly before looking back to her friend.]

If you would rather learn, it would be best to approach them yourself. I will be there either way.

[ A soft hum. ] I think it'll be easier to conquer that fear with you at my side, Homura-chan.

I'll practice here bit by bit until it is no longer a problem!

[Gatherings are easier for Homura to attend when they are at night. She isn't much of a conversationalist, and her long black hair keeps her from being noticed by too many of the locals. She is noticeably standing off to the side, watching the lanterns float with a completely unreadable expression.

Its a silly and foolish ceremony, she thinks, but one rooted in tradition no doubt. After all, one could not expect normal and simple people to understand the balance system of wishes and miracles.

Still, better on one of these paper lanterns than in the face of a fuzzy long-eared white alien. She will not be participating. But it would be interesting to see who might need some reeducation, were they to befriend anyone she may have known in the past.]

[gkk! his giant eyebrow is twitching irritably. then he reaches down to ruffle Sealand's hair roughly]

'Nice'. [Julie repeats this with a half smile. If nice was as good as R could do at the moment, she could accept that. She nods once. Nice was okay.]

I kinda like it here, weird issues with not being in physical contact with someone else aside.

[She pauses, looking at R.]

It's prettier than home, I can say that much about it.

[ The truth is coming clearer and clearer. ]

I can tell you that. It's definitely true. It's nasty, too, and it doesn't get better unless you make contact.

[Well, that settles that. In no time at all (and with a rather unique noise) he's folding in on himself, shrinking and re-shaping into a damn speedy-looking car.

Which proceeds to open its own door closest to Duo.]

[It was a small risk, he'd thought, but he didn't expect the robot shifting forms, in a way most mobile suits never could.

Needless to say he was impressed, aaand maybe a little shocked.]

Guess you're driving. [He hopped in the passenger seat, and wisely put on the seat belt.]

[Now his voice comes from a small, flashing radio on the dashboard.] I will be until the streets narrow. From then on we can walk the rest of the way, unless we happen to find an alternate road leading directly to the beach, which is a possibility.

[A wise decision, that seat belt, 'cause once he's off he's off. Like, well, a blurr.]

Yeah. Sounds about the only way we can do it. No scenic route, is there?

Whoa!

[Way to make a guy white knuckle the handlebar, Blurr!]

Well yeah but it uh....

She looks from the food and back to him, smiling once she looks at him for a second. Sonmi's come to the conclusion that Zack is either very kind or not so very bright. She wonders if she should find a second opinion... but she'd rather not, all things considered. She likes Zack.

"Then... Are you hungry?"

[staystraught]

"As much junk as you eat, you need all the help you can get," Dick answered. He flipped his cape back over his shoulder, no longer needing the black side to hide behind.

"Boy Wonder has many interests. Just pretend I'm here to help."

She's right on the money whichever way she leans, really. He's definitely no genius (at least outside combat), though he'd probably personally prefer to be thought of as nicer than he is stupid. (Generally speaking. It shouldn't be said that he's never used his apparent idiocy to his advantage.)

"As a matter of fact - I am. I was actually thinking of grabbing something from one of the new stands out here, when I ran into you. What do you think looks good?"

[Don't you worry, he's got fast enough reaction time for this to be a safe drive. Although he may not have accounted for any jostling such speedy turns might cause...

In any case, it won't take them very long to get where they're going at all at this rate.]

[He adjusted quickly, he'd just never been in a car that accelerated that quickly. On the other hand most of his own quick accelerations had zero G to take some of the blow.

From there, he looked out the window, watching the mouth of the river open up to the lake.]

But that's so.. so.. [Can't say wack, shouldn't say wack. Honorable demons shouldn't be saying wack anymore.]

That doesn't make sense!

[Surprisingly, he isn't much of a talker in vehicle mode, so the ride's pretty quiet until the roads finally get a little cramped and he stops just as abruptly as he started.]

I'm can't safely drive any further. I believe this is where we should start walking.

[He undoes the seat belt and hops out of the car, closing the door.]

Yeah, it doesn't look far either.

Perhaps not, but there are a lot of things in the world that don't make sense.[he grins softly] When a people come together and unite, countries are given life. I am over a thousand years old, and my heart beats as long as my citizens believe in me. Obviously, I cannot expect you to believe me. [England doesn't usually go around telling people what he is because of that reason] That is what I am.
