♦I love seeing characters grow over the course of games. America has some "secret" insecurities that perhaps some new friends could help him out with. (I already have plans for him to talk to Rin about his insecurity over his sexual orientation. Others could have a talk with him about this subject.) I don't know enough about Hetalia to know if it would work like that, though, I'm just throwing out the idea.

But for the more stoic or reserved types, he still flirts with the ladies, jokes with guys and runs around seeming incredibly obnoxious!! He's a lot more than that but you have to get to know him first.

NOTES: Uhhhh he's kind of a horrible person. If you want your character to be mocked snidely, he'll do it.

I'm still undecided on how I'll play the "secret identity" trope in this game (I've had some bad experiences with it else... long story short, please TELL ME before your character blows his cover, because they actually should not be able to do that per his canon), but I really love getting him CR with people in both identities. He likes to be a bit of a trickster.

CURRENT HAPPENINGS: One of the new arrivals, Piper is just trying to get her bearings in this new place and figure out exactly how and why she's there. She was in the middle of a mega-important quest back home and so far has no idea if she's being missed or not. For the most part you'll probably see her asking a lot of questions and trying to find ways to get back, maybe even looking for info that could help with said quest as well.

She has an open log right now and I'll be tagging around the open park log this week. She's also on the new arrival mingle, of course!

NOTES: She's been in the game less than a week and so far she's only had maybe one handshake. Since she's here without anyone that she personally recognizes/knows Piper is going to need some help on the contact front. She's going to need people to help open her up to the idea of being "touchy feely" with strangers, for that matter.

Just give me all the CR, really. Good, bad, rivalry, friendship, alliances, enemies, EVERYTHING.

Though a note especially for those who might develop negative CR with her (And anyone else, too!): Since Piper's powers are (by nature) a bit on the god-moddy side I've set up a permissions post for her. Except he doesn't know anything about it yet which is.. pretty similar to his canon situation except there he doesn't know anything since he lost his memories, but he figures the same approach works all the same so he's out and about ~exploring~ a lot, so it'd be easy to run into him! Especially since he stands out since he's pretty stupidly tall for an Asian guy along with his weird sailor outfit and gap teeth.. noticing him isn't really hard. He's probably also spending a lot of time with Yasuho since she's.. practically the only person he does know here.
NOTES: Since he's so new I'd love to make any cr at all! c: If there's people who also have some sort of amnesia or anything special with memories that'd probably be cool cr, but I'm also okay with having people who are weirded out by him or just to become friends with or.. anything, come at me!

NOTES:
First, since Pilouette comes from an incredibly mundane setting I'm up for alllll kinds of CR. She's still getting used to people not being "normal" by her own world's standards. Also, most canons won't exist in her world, instead being replaced by an alternative ex: My Tiny Alpaca or CaptchaMon.

Pilouette has been getting a sufficient amount of contact ( she could probably stand to get more) and while she's friendly, it can take some time for her make really strong bonds and she tries really hard to please others because she thinks that will get people to like her, so it's really easy to convince her to help out with things, as long as those things don't seem crazy important. It's also not hard to get a reaction out of her and she's really trollable. It's easier for her to get along with girls and she's got no experience when it comes to dating and boys, so that kind of thing can freak her out. Overall, she's a typical teenager who tries to be cool and mature but just can't quite pull it off.

Pete on the other hand would be far too occupied wondering "OH MY GOD ARE YOU ME?!" to do such a thing. They can bond over their mutual beat-up-in-school-because-they're-scrawny-nerds experiences together and it will be precious.

TIME ZONE: Arizona. Yeah. Basically, we're in the Mountain time zone, but we don't do daylight savings time, so it's kind of a headache whenever that rolls around. Because most of us don't know when it starts or ends, myself included.

CHARACTER: Princess Looma Red Wind

CURRENT HAPPENINGS: Looma has basically been skating by on the bare minimum of physical contact, and even then lately it's only because of certain situations that forced her to engage in more contact than usual. So, expect her to start getting sick soon. Usually, she's training through whatever improvised means she has at her disposal (seen any big bolders with fist marks in them lately? Yeah. Tetramandian punching bag), or generally being a huge antisocial malcontent to most anyone she interacts with. Because she hates everything about this place, and about 99% of the people here.

NOTES: She could use more CR all around really, especially from people willing to call her on her crappy behavior. Doubly so for people willing to call her on her crappy behavior, and survive her wrath. Though, as a heads up, there's this thing about Tetramand females: They sort of start developing a crush on anyone who bests them in combat. Actual combat, mind you, though beating her in a sparring session will definitely start some more positive, affectionate feelings in motion. So uh. You've been warned.

Because she's kind of terrifying as a girlfriend. Especially when you don't want her to be your girlfriend. Or your fiancée. Also, Tetramands tend to show a lot more puppy love than other races, and when you happen to have superhuman strength, that can kind of be bad if the object of your affection doesn't have a certain measure of invulnerability going for them.


CHARACTER: Peter Parker / Spider-Man
CANON: Spectacular Spider-Man (Animated)
CURRENT HAPPENINGS: Basically, Pete's just still trying to adjust to the whole teleported-to-a-new-world-powered-by-hugs thing, and trying to keep himself as busy and distracted as possible. As Pete, that's probably going to translate to spending lots of quality time in the library or helping out around the city, and as Spidey...well, you'll see a red-and-blue blur swinging around the city and hopping from building to building soon enough.

He'll probably have some difficulty meeting the touch quota stuff at first, if only because as Peter he's kind of your typical introverted teenage boy. And occasionally hormones get involved and he's kind of a hopeless dork. As Spidey, well, he's probably not going to be making a lot of contact with anyone unless it's for training or crime-stopping purposes. He'll actually probably need more help than Looma when it comes to getting adjusted to this place. He will, however, be pretty eager to network with any and all superhero types around the city. Because back home, he's sort of the only one, and there was never really a shortage of supervillains trying to kill him. So, the idea of actually having a support network of other heroes sounds freaking awesome to him.

Besides, Robin can be a catty little troll sometimes, and clearly the best way to deal with that is to have someone even more obnoxious willing to engage in that same behavior with the bird-boy :3

We'll have to see where the conversation goes between Pete and America. America is always happy to help out the new arrivals. Spidey teasing and trolling is accepted and encouraged.

As for the lovely princess... America is fascinated by nonhumans and already has several alien friends so he won't run if he meets her. He also has super strength so he'd be able to handle her if she takes a swing at him. He won't approve of any jerk behavior though. He actually might be perfect material for an awkward crush CR on her part if you really want to play that out. XD Sorry Looma, his heart is already taken.

NOTES: Uhhhh so Kara, in addition to her physical superpowers, also has enhanced perception six ways from Sunday like the unfair little brat she is. She will not be spying on people or anything but if you'd like her to awkwardly stumble onto some private moment of your character's in order to make them the both of them unhappy that can definitely be arranged.

Things of note about Lloyd: Lloyd has this nifty parasitic gem thing called an Exsphere embedded on the back of his left hand that gives him greater than normal abilities, especially if he's actively using his mana. That's not to say he can go toe to toe with someone with superhuman powers, but he's definitely more capable than an average human, and he's just competitive enough that he'd probably accept a friendly challenge, from arm wrestling to sparring with swords. Or he could be goaded into it, if your character's not the friendly type.
NOTES: Good CR, bad CR, ALL THE CR POSSIBILITIES. Shenanigans with friends! Confrontations with the less than friendly! I'm open to anything if anyone's interested!

If you'd like him to encounter someone in particular, just let me know.
NOTES: Shinju wants friends, but I admit I'm a little more partial to getting him some more drama... he's pretty susceptible to any kind of persuasion (emotional, physical, magic) and he's a little desperate to be liked, so he's more likely to ignore any bad vibes after he starts getting to know someone. Throw your schemers at me! Eventually it would be pretty sweet to get him to have him date someone...?? But it would take a while for him to get close to that. So I guess if anyone's interested in a slow-building ship with lots of emotional baggage but fluff too...?!

CURRENT HAPPENINGS: Freya's always exploring in her own way, looking out for anyone who might be causing or in trouble. She typically likes to stick to the rooftops for her patrols.
NOTES: She still wants to go home and isn't entirely trusting of the dudes in charge, but it's quiet enough for her to not be actively flipping out. I'm not really sure where I want to go with her! I'm just kind of going with the flow right now. I guess I'm always up to more interactions with younger characters and other non-humans!

CURRENT HAPPENINGS: Mai's about to give in and look for work as well as actually submit more often to physical contact. She's kinda held out the hope she'd go back home if she were stubborn enough. Not because she desperately wants to go back to Azula's shenanigans but she's... well, homesick. She'll never admit as much but being in a completely different world with no one she knows or even knows about where she's from after the rejection that was that letter... it's a little hard.

I'm going to be canon updating her to just after the end of the 'Rebound' comic so she's not quite so bitterly unhappy as she is right now.

NOTES: Smiles are rare. Waver's managed it and Lloyd's managed to amuse her. Kids can generally see a nicer side of Mai (or at least not as crabby and sarcastic) because she just doesn't see the point in being apathetically mean to little kids. Remember, even if Mai is apathetic, she's not a complete asshole about it.
... Basically she needs friends is what I'm trying to say. Bubbly people like Ty Lee who'll drag her into things.

Currently, Soushi is trying to get over his heart break and loneliness over the fact that his master has left the city and has returned home. He is normally a very optimistic, overly friendly, and happy-to-lucky character, but he is a lot less of that nowadays.

He works at a butler and maid cafe almost every single day and evening because he wants to keep himself busy over his master's departure. He has been eating less. He has been talking less over the network too. Anyone can easily find him wandering around and working.

In the withdraw department, he is all right with his hugs from Jack and Shinju, but he needs more. I would love to have someone be his official person to seek affectionate touches towards -- be it holding hands, hugging, or whatever other platonic ways to keep each other healthy. If anyone prefer his more adult services, then I wouldn't mind if someone would pitch the idea towards him. He is overly loyal to his master, but if you give him a valid reason to do more intimate touchings, then he might consider it. After all, other than his loyalty and devotion personality, Soushi is also an opportunistic and manipulative type of character, so if you give him the opportunity and reason, then he would go through with it without a second thought.

NOTES:

More friends, more potential people to serve, more co-workers to work alongside with, more positive cr, or negative cr is entirely allowed. I would love to have more people befriend Soushi as he is not the type to get closer to people unless the other person shows interest in him. Soushi is usually open to everyone, even the more harsher type of characters as he will ignore their negative traits and point out the more positive traits instead.

The happenings of this log might be of interest to those in Building One (or anyone else who can find a reason to be there/notice). In short: Last week there was a commotion that comes from somewhere on the fourth floor. Anyone who investigates will find the door to 4-15 broken down and are free to snoop/spy/easedrop/etc on Wing and Deadlock as they, uh, sort out Wing's transformation accident and withdrawal symptoms. There's shippy things ahead so if you're not into it there's your warning. ;)

CURRENT HAPPENINGS: Deadlock has cornered the market on surly and scowling, while at the same time somehow managing not to be a complete bad guy, because he can't bring himself to do more than just, you know, scowl at people. His hobbies include threatening every NPC ever, insisting Wing can't take care of himself, and trying to escape. Also he has feelings for Wing he doesn't know what to do with, so he's going to try, I dunno, punching stuff.
NOTES: His bark is way worse than his bite. I'd love him to, like, rescue someone (probably on accident) and then have to deal with that. Also, he needs hugs. Like, all the time.
