It was definitely warm, even close to being hot by the river's shoreline. Kid stood out, being fully clothed in his prim black suit. Did he lack bathing trunks? Tohru wasn't sure, but even though he looked comfortable, she was convinced that he was simply hiding it well. Rather than risk rudeness by asking him if he was hot, she decided it would be more helpful if she got him something cold to drink. More efficient too!

"Please excuse the intrusion!" she beamed, once she'd returned from the snack shack with two cold glasses of lemonade. "I'll wait until you're finished with the chapter?"
