Still, that doesn't jive with the Batman he knows. If Specimen A is "of the family" and Specimen B is "like a daughter," then Specimen C shouldn't be any different.

Heck. If Robin is honest with himself, Bruce might not be particularly parental about Artemis or Conner, but he was... not encouraging, not exactly, but he never stood in their way. He'd never seriously tried to hinder any of them-- he'd threatened to, but he'd allowed them to convince him otherwise.]


It's not like him to be that... inconsistent.
