[If you look up at the right moment, there's a zipline being fired from a nearby roof. A warm breeze stirs a black and yellow cape, and that's right when Robin jumps, letting gravity swing him from one roof to another.
Except then there's the vertigo, and while his head spins, his grip slackens. Freefall is nothing new to him, and he does manage to slow himself down with a couple somersaults and creative use of the cape, but he hits the ground hard, shoulder first, and moans a little.]

[he's been here for less than a week, and England is already starting to feel the impact of what the lack of a hug can do. he's certainly not as strong as he usually is. even walking long-distance is more of a chore, which is absolutely crazy to him. he may be old, but his body is in peak physical condition! he's not an athlete by any means, but he's not a weakling.

[America had the same idea to go to the government building again to follow up on his last set of questions about the city. At this rate he was going to make friends with all the receptionists.

[ He was never the sort who wanted to sit still. If ever one craved for knowledge, it was this guy. Naturally, being brought to some strange town without any answers left him on edge. He spends one day to get himself settled in but his second day sees him out and about:

After awhile of wandering around and getting very strange looks from various vendors and shopkeeps, Gavrill settled at a table near the market place with several rather large cuts of raw stake wrapped in paper laying beside her. That way she could at least replicate the taste of the mysterious item that had caused so much commotion earlier.]

[ Unfortunately for Nabuca, or perhaps right up to speed with how things normally go for him, he is dazed out enough to bump right into her back while he walks. He's on the short side, being 14 or so, so someone so tall is just a back to him.

[ Nabuca does not know what to do with the sight of a river. When was the last time he saw this much water, aside from the incident with Lala-Ru? Half a glass of water with meals was the only time he really got to be around it.
It took some coaxing to get him here. He looks awkward, anyway, with his long sleeves and his pants, not exactly dressed for the occasion. He was very small the last time he wore shorts and he was not covered with scars from fighting, then. He's not self-conscious, not really, but he feels it might make people uncomfortable.

Don't they understand that water could all go away someday? The thick smell of food, too, could go. He's dealing with a bit of sensory overload. This shift from what he's used to is HUGE.

Nonetheless, as she explores the city, she begins to feel the dizziness and lethargy that accompanies not heeding the warning they were given.
The young lord stops, unfamiliar with such a feeling since her youth, and leans against the wall of the closest building to support herself. To feel so sick and out of sorts is certainly not something she wishes to be witnessed doing, but it will only worsen if she declines aid...]

[ The first thing that Italy wanted to do was make pasta! It would give a more homier kind of feeling towards this whole situation. Whatever that may be. It didn't really concern him too much. Being cheerful as always as he went through the streets of the shopping district. Occasionally the seemingly young man seemed to space out stopping in the middle of the street to look up towards the sky before continuing again.
Italy starts humming as he nears the fresh vegetables stalls and looks at the various types. He pauses turning as if going to ask a question to someone. For a moment he seems to look lost before remembering that he was out on this venture by himself. There was no Germany or Japan with him. ]

[Shopping had been a chore Arturia had adapted to ever so slowly during her stay in the modern age. More often then not she had let Irisviel decide what would be placed upon the night's dinner table, leaving it a new experience entirely to be planning a meal for ones self.
Having acquired a variety of things that didn't need to be cooked, Arturia had taken to sorting through her bounty only glancing up to occasionally seem as if she was trying to speak to some one whose lacking presence traces a melancholic expression on the King of Knight's face.]

[Though she had no problems with casual contact, shaking hands, and other pleasantries, anything closer often made Arturia uncomfortable. Having ignored such touching for the sake of her own peace of mind, the poor thing has developed a rather nasty case of cuddle withdraw.

[A thin looking man can be seen browsing through the various aisles. He seems fascinated, mostly due to the the wide variety of food here. Some of the goods are things he have never seen before. But growing up in the Great Depression has left Steve with an appreciation for having any kind of food on the table. Can't really be picky when there's people starving in the streets. He just hopes that he won't get sick from eating something new to him. But no use diddling around, he's just not the type to pass these things up.

[Existing in such a place has had him finely limited. Maybe it's appropriate, maybe not but he's still breathing and apparently that shit ain't changing anytime soon despite nothing really being expected of him. A dramatic monologue to be saved for later, quite clearly.

[It's a little extraordinary to Rutilio that his entire budget for food is paid for. It honestly seemed a little too good to be true, but once a few days went by with none of his food coming back poisoned or something, he's finally going to make a proper grocery run. That is to say, he wants to get a lot of food in as little time around the weird wingless creatures he apparently shares this world with as possible]

[He seems quite wary, keeping a bit of space between himself and everyone else when he can, wings flicking irritably whenever anyone gets too close. And he has a pattern of hovering around a stall, hurrying away as if startled by something... before returning a few minutes later. The process repeats a couple times until he finally actually buys something, despite the odd stares of the sellers who watch him. Probably he could pull of this Not Being Noticed thing if he wasn't covered in bright red and green feathers... whoops?]

[Edward has the same idea, aiming to get as far away from the city's center as he can - to avoid causing a scene in the midday sun. Darting from one building's slim shadow to the next, he picks up on the steady sound of flowing water and decides to follow it. Historically, rivers lead people to civilization, but they also have to lead away from it eventually. Though on such a dry day, it's likely he won't be the only one drawn to it. Still, worst case scenario (well, second worst), he finds a secluded enough area to enter the river and swim to the bottom to stay there until nightfall.
Such plans are thwarted, however, when he sees the exposed riverbank and the small crowd making the most of it. He lets out a low, frustrated growl. As he scans the length of the river, wondering whether he'd have better luck if he backtracked and went further up or down stream, his gaze catches on Katsa. Or more accurately, the shiny fish scales peeking through the netted pack on her back. The very shine that got them caught, no doubt.

[Prussia isn't a shopaholic like France, but the outdoor Marketplace definitely caught her attention when she was looking around, trying to familiarize herself with the city. She shouldn't have let herself be distracted but when you can't recognize half the foods merchants are selling, something is terribly off about a place. It was more like a sick fascination than anything, really.
So she'll be wandering the aisles and maybe butting into conversations that people are having with the different produce sellers--because what is tact or waiting your turn when you have a question you want answered or a comment you think everyone deserves to hear?

Either way he knows how difficult it is to grow any kind of plant, and so was not going to take kindly to such mocking language to someone's hard work. Not that he was going to admit to caring, of course.

[Foreign food. Weird, but given where he is right now it's not that unexpected. Still, the unfamiliar options make grocery shopping a little tougher. Easier to play it safe, so he gathers some carrots and potatoes as well as a few other items first.]

[It's been a while since reaching out towards his surroundings as a guide has been necessary. The sound of footsteps isn't enough in this situation but he's been led up to here. His hand finds a doorknob that he gives a bit of a twist and pull, stepping back. Let's hope this is opening a door... and this is a doorknob at all. There is a pause as to make sure no one is coming out before he allows himself in.
