Here's some prompts to help you get started, if you need it:

Option 1

[The midsummer heat is still in full swing. But that's okay - enterprising residents on the riverbanks are renting out innertubes for you to float along the cool waters in. The catch? They're innertubes for two, and you're sharing with the person ahead of/behind you in line! Get nice and cozy, you two.]

Option 2

[There's something odd about some of the shops in the third district. There doesn't seem to be any pattern - it's something that can be found in all sorts of establishments. But if you see the twin daisy sign in the window, it turns out that you can get a discount when making a purchase with someone else. It could be someone you know, or someone new entirely, but so long as you both reach the checkout at the same time, you get the discount - a pretty substantial one too! So hey, look and see if there's anyone else shopping with you! Could be a great way to stretch the allowance you've been given.]

Option 3

[Even if there are no children among the natives, it doesn't stop the adults from being a little immature - or maybe the heat's just getting to them. If you glance around, you might notice almost-hidden baskets of water balloons, tucked under benches and against trash cans...

If you didn't notice, though, it might be an awful surprise when one hits the back of your head. And when you whip around to look - well, it's probably not immediately obvious who the culprit is. Will you brush it off, yell and scream, or take revenge on the town at large?]

Option 4

[Whoops. Looks like you haven't taken the cautionary words of the other NPCs to heart, or maybe you just wanted to take your chances. Either way, the withdrawal symptoms have started and you need to find someone to hug quickly before you get even more sick.]

Option 5

[If there's something else you wanted to play with, that you didn't see here, then have fun with that. You've just arrived in a strange city, after all. There's got to be plenty to explore out and about, not to mention people to meet.]

[ ...Okay, even the fish tail can't distract Cloud entirely from a woman smiling at him while in his arms. He reddens a bit, focusing his eyes on the path ahead. Get her to the river. Simple enough. Time to start walking.

Though hey, there's still talking while walking. ]

You mean how you got stranded? [ He's got no clue on that one. He's come to accept that sometimes his life involves screwy turns of events that make no sense to him. ] Or why we're here?

Yeah, both of those.

[Nami was used to being sent to all kinds of places. Summoner's Rift, The Crystal Scar... It all came with being a champion in the League. Though even so, she'd have some sort of notification that she was being sent off somewhere. This... totally came from out of nowhere. It was far too populated to seem like a Field of Justice.

A rogue summoner, maybe? No way of knowing for sure.]

I know it doesn't look like it, but I can move on dry land just fine. But I can't even do that much.

[ Grimacing a bit. She's not going to like this; who would? ] Not sure why you can't, but this city's taking people in to fix a mess of theirs. Not necessarily stopping to check if we're interested. [ Kidnapping for good cause! ...Yeah, it's stupid. ] It... doesn't really make sense how we're supposed to fix it, either. But it does seem like touching gives people energy here. You feel anything? [ He does know he felt miserable when he got here--and being the kind of person he is, that lasted a while. At the same time he's going to feel dumb saying this if she's not feeling anything from a full-out carry. This is involving way more contact than he usually does. ~~Probably has been skating by on handshakes so far. And Zack.~~ ]

[Was he... actually telling her truth just now? Nami had known that the surface world was weird but this took that strangeness to a whole new level. Not only that but she was already kind of busy with the not-to-small task of finding a way to save her people. And not only that but...

Touching? Well there was a lot of that but she didn't really think much of it until now.]

I don't know. [Did she feel like trying to move around on her own again? Yeah.] Can I wait until we make it to the river? I'd at least like to get that done before doing anything else.

Yeah, of course. [ No Nami he was just going to drop you on the road and see if you flopped again (he hopes she didn't really think he would have done that...) ]

[A while later, the two finally make it to the river, which is a sight for sore eyes as far as Nami is concerned. It's not like her physical health is in any real decline, she just really wanted the feel of water on her body once more.]

[ Mobility is always a welcome thing. ]

It's nothing. You couldn't be left there. [ He hopes she hadn't been left there long, but, well... he saw that happen in Edge a little too often, people in trouble, even children, getting passed over entirely because bystanders didn't know how to help or didn't want to.

He'll keep moody thoughts to himself though, kneeling to her slowly right next to the side of the river--she can take it from there, after all. He is kind of curious about something though. ] How do you usually get around? Do you float, or grow legs or something...? [ ...He can ask one sort of stupid question since he helped, right? Maybe he shouldn't have. ]

[Nami's thankful that even here, there's at least someone who's willing to help her out, even if she most likely isn't what Cloud is used to seeing. Making it into the river proper, she almost instantly feels much more relived now that she's in water. It was really something that she needed, and having maneuvered herself further into the river, the lower half of Nami's body is now completely submerged.]

It's a lot like floating, yeah. Kind of like I'm swimming through the air.

[and then she can't help but add:]

I don't think I'd ever want to grow legs, really. They're so... weird.

[why yes, that sure was just a thing she said.]

[ Really, Nami? Really? Two legs just got you to the river. Cloud's left eyebrow just goes up a bit. ]

They're useful enough. Work both in and out of water.

[ Yeeeah, that might have been a bit of ribbing there. What about it? ]
