Here's some prompts to help you get started, if you need it:

Option 1

[While the days grow longer and warmer and the older, oriental-style of the city would normally make one think that the interiors would not be much in the way of relief from the hot sun, it may surprise the guest to see that the apartments the natives have allocated for them are surprisingly comfortable. In fact, the only modern convenience they may be missing is a television set! At least, outside the media floor on the first floor of Building One - the first of four inter-connected buildings.

In fact, each apartment building seems to have at least one different amenity on the first floor. In Building Two they seemed to even spare a library in another that seems to have the basics and some information packets that are otherwise found in the Welcome Center in District 2. There are even a few restaurants and common dining areas in the Building Three that are open until late at night, and meeting areas and a ballroom on the first floor in Building Four, perfect for setting up small parties or big events.

With the locals gone save those who work in the restaurants and the one librarian, leaving you to your own devices, what will you do? What mysteries could be left to discover in this place?]

Option 2

[With summer coming, the water level in the river is starting to go down, exposing some of the beach. The Riverside Shack is open late, and its restaurant is pulling out all the stops and offering seafood specials (even though a river is a far cry from an ocean). The rental store, meanwhile, is finally bringing out more of its swimming supplies, inner tubes and pool noodles, and a calmer stretch of the river has been roped off with buoys for swimming. They even have lifeguards chairs set up. Clearly this sort of thing used to be an annual event.

It's not quite an ocean beach (quite different actually), but there's still plenty of chance to have fun in the water. Or teach someone to swim, perhaps.]

Option 3

[If you're more inclined to explore or learn, the City's Learning Center might be more to your tastes. There certainly seems to be a lot going on here - there's laboratories and libraries and workshops, and plenty of communal areas where you can meet and talk with people. The natives seem pretty absorbed with their studies and work, though they're polite in brushing you off, at least.

Perhaps you'll have more luck seeing what other Guests such as yourself have discovered?]

Option 4

[Whoops. Looks like you haven't taken the cautionary words of the other NPCs to heart, or maybe you just wanted to take your chances. Either way, the withdrawal symptoms have started and you need to find someone to hug quickly before you get even more sick.]

Option 5

[If there's something else you wanted to play with, that you didn't see here, then have fun with that. You've just arrived in a strange city, after all. There's got to be plenty to explore out and about, not to mention people to meet.]

[Interested in going to the beach? Well, you might run into this teenager with silver hair and somewhat odd fashion sense standing near the bank, looking like he can't really trust the water. Or anything else, really. He's never seen a real life beach...and he's not even sure this is a real-life beach to begin with.]

[It's for swimming or showing best friends in!

Kairi has spotted him from behind. Sure he looked smaller from last she has seen him, but she wasn't really going to think about that as she crept up behind him. And both hands were soon planted on his back as she tries to push him towards the water.]

Surprise!

[Smaller, and also a completely different person, despite the appearance.

And he is totally unprepared to be shoved at, and barely manages to notice that there's someone behind him before he's headed towards the water face first, with an appropriate startled yelp.

It takes him a minute to reorient himself and pull himself out of the water before he yells at Kairi.]

What was that for!?

[There's definitely a lot different from what she's used to, whether it be the size or the outfit or the overall demeanor, but one thing that is vaguely familiar is the expression of distrust, even though it's been years since it was first aimed at her and she hasn't seen it too often since. Following his gaze, she looks out at the river, then back. She kicks her toe against the ground a little awkwardly, though her voice makes it clear she's trying at humor.]

There's nothing wrong with the water.

[She's already waded around in it a little. Not too far, as she hasn't had a chance to officially hone her swimming skills yet, but enough to guarantee it is water.]

It's real, right? The water, I mean. The beach...?

[It may sound like a dumb question, but that's why he distrusts it. Also, Xion is someone entirely unfamiliar to him, but she reminds him of Naminé...hope she's not offended by that.]

...Who are you?

Yeah, it is.

[She glances over at him in puzzlement, the confusion only increasing as he asks her that question.

Wait. The memories that aren't hers. The series of awkward conversations she'd had with Riku... Xion seems to stiffen, looking over at him. ... it was as likely as anything else. If he didn't know her at all... She'd never got to meet him.]

Xion. And.... who are you?

I've never seen a beach like this before! [Alice said suddenly to the boy next to her, offering him a smile.] Although, I think they're a bit confused on what is a beach and what is a bank, as I think the edges of a river are called banks and not beaches. Both start with B so I suppose that's why they were so confuddled! Ah! But it is very pretty! [She looked up at the boy.]

[Hello random oddly familiar blonde girl. He didn't hear her approach at all, and isn't sure what to say for a few seconds...good thing she decided to say something first.]

I've...uh...I've never been to a beach before, so I don't know the difference anyway.

I've only ever been to the beach once before, but that was when I was younger so I don't remember it very well. [Why she's saying "younger" is a mystery since she's all of seven.] I've seen the river plenty of times, however. It's one of my favorite places, there's a giant meadow of flowers near it.

Oh but, this looks like a lovely place too. We could explore it together! Things are much more exciting when you can speak with someone about something. I've seen lots of places but was alone so I had to have myself for conversation, and it's very hard to see something someone else might notice when yourself is your only company.

[Well. That's a familiar darkness if he ever did smell it. He'd know; it was uncannily like his own, and that wasn't all. One of the few familiar things in this place, too.

It's almost like the beach just lures them to it...

For the longest time, he isn't really sure what to say or do. After all, it's been almost three years since he saw him. But in the end, it was just too sad to see someone with a face that looked like his did when he was younger just stare at the water.]

Pretty sure it won't bite if you jump in.

[Well, that's a familiar voice. His head snaps up as soon as he hears it, taking a few seconds to find the source. The appearance is slightly different, but it's definitely Riku.]

You...

[What are you doing here? Why do you look different? What's going on? Are probably the things he should say, but he doesn't.]

I'm not afraid of the water.

[Same as you. Locals dragging them here wanting them to hug or something, no clue about the time difference, yada yada.]

Didn't say you were.

[Just stating that it's real in their usual snark. Like a boss.]

Though that would be a little pathetic.

[You are his replica, after all. Even Sora's wasn't that scared of drowning if she stepped in.]
