Here's some prompts to help you get started, if you need it:

Option 1

[With summer coming, the water level in the river is starting to go down, exposing some of the riverbank. The Riverside Shack is open late, and its restaurant is pulling out all the stops and offering seafood specials (even though a river is a far cry from an ocean). The rental store, meanwhile, is finally bringing out more of its swimming supplies, inner tubes and pool noodles, and a calmer stretch of the river has been roped off with buoys for swimming. They even have lifeguards chairs set up. Clearly this sort of thing used to be an annual event.

It's not quite an ocean beach (quite different actually), but there's still plenty of chance to have fun in the water. Or teach someone to swim, perhaps.]

Option 2

[With a new district available to the public, there are new places to visit. However there are also questions with each new arrival. One may find themselves headed for Saeng Seong's town hall and government buildings in search of answers. Whether it be more reasons for why they're here, or simply looking for an attorney to sue the unnamed scientists that brought you here.

(However, they may be slightly prejudiced to this one. You've been warned.)]

Option 3

[There are certainly a lot of different options for shopping in the city. Perhaps one of the more interesting and eclectic of these options, however, is the outdoor Marketplace in District 3. All sorts of fresh food stalls line the large open area, with different aisles that can be walked down. There's food of all kinds here - fruits, diary, vegetables, and so on and so forth. Some of it will likely be familiar, but other kinds may be so foreign as to be unrecognizable - a orange, seemingly hollow kind of fruit with holes like swiss cheese, for example, or salad greens with leaves the size of heads of pins. You are on a different world, after all.

So wander the marketplace! Discover something new! And perhaps meet other curious people such as yourself...]

Option 4

[Whoops. Looks like you haven't taken the cautionary words of the other NPCs to heart, or maybe you just wanted to take your chances. Either way, the withdrawal symptoms have started and you need to find someone to hug quickly before you get even more sick.]

Option 5

[If there's something else you wanted to play with, that you didn't see here, then have fun with that. You've just arrived in a strange city, after all. There's got to be plenty to explore out and about, not to mention people to meet.]

[His gaze remains on the strange apple, looking as if he's trying not to be weirded out. He half-mumbles a reply, sort of thinking aloud.]

I'm still having trouble getting used to all this different food. How am I supposed to know what a healthy diet is when half of the things here are completely new to me...?

[After a moment of staring at the other unfamiliar food around them and rubbing the back of his neck, he returns his attention to Steve.]

So--I don't think I've seen you around... are you new here?

All this variety, it's really something, isn't it? [He can appreciate variety though, even if it will take a while to get used to] Could always look at a cookbook or ask the locals around. Never hurts to try, I say.

[Steve nods at the question. This guy seems friendly enough.] I am. It's nice to meet you, I'm Steve Rogers.

Something... is a word you could use, yes. [He raises his eyebrows slightly, looking unsure.] I--I guess you're right. I do work at one of the restaurants now... maybe I could ask one of the cooks. [He's surprised the idea didn't come to him before. It just felt like there was this... huge divide between the visitors and the natives.]

Shinju Gouka--nice to meet you, too. [He'd offer a hand, but they're a little full at the moment.] I hope you're adjusting alright; I know a lot of people have had trouble.

Unique, different? But you might find something that you like. [Steve notices how Shinju seems a little unsure.] That so? I'm sure that they'll help you with some ideas then.

You've been around here for a while now? [He does seem a little more experienced with these things.] It was a shock, fall asleep in one place, wake up in another. Wish there was more of a warning. [If Steve's honest with himself, there is so much culture to adjust to. The touching, the different species he's seen... it's a lot to take in. Almost overwhelming at some moments, but he's trying. Trying to adjust and put on a brave face.] But gotta make do with we we have, right?

Haha. Eventually... [It was going to take a while though.] I guess I just feel... weird talking to the people that have always lived here.

Only about a month, but there have been enough people here to... well, I've seen a lot of different reactions. [He sighs.] I know what you mean. I was taking a walk in the middle of winter, and I wake up and it's suddenly June...

[He smiles slightly in response, almost looking... tired.] Yeah. It could be worse, after all... They're providing food and shelter for us for not a lot of effort.

Feel like a foreigner? Won't lie, it's a new feeling to get used to. I haven't been out of New York that much and now suddenly, I'm in a different world. [And this answers the question of aliens being real. Steve wishes that he can eventually tell Bucky this. But he's stuck here and Bucky is at war.]

Going from the middle of winter to the middle of summer... that must've been jarring. And warm too, I'm guessin.' With wearing your winter clothes.

[Steve starts to become a little more serious at this.] Yeah, have to adapt, get used to this place. But still don't really appreciate them bringing people here without even so much of a word.

I... guess so. [It doesn't help that he hasn't ever visited a different country before.] I know what you mean... I've traveled, but never that far from what I'm used to.

It was definitely hot. The arrival wasn't exactly great, with that and the dizziness and confusion. At least I managed to meet some friendly people.

[Shinju looks off, towards the other passersby.] It's frustrating, certainly. But I'm... sort of glad for the chance to get away from home.

Are you from Earth as well? [He didn't get a blank look when he mentioned New York, but Shinju could just be used to hearing unfamiliar names. After all, he's been here for a little while.]

That's good, make some new friends. Don't wanna face things alone here.

[Steve looks at him.] Things not going well at home? Oh, if you don't mind me asking.

Yeah... s-sort of. I've met other people from Earth here, but... apparently my Earth isn't really like theirs. I guess there are a lot of "Earths," as strange as that sounds.

[At the word "alone," he glances away nervously for a moment, shifting his bags so his arms are almost crossed.] Y... yeah. [The discomfort is still obvious on his face, but he forces a small smile.] ... you could say that.

Wh-what about you? What kind of situation were you taken from, if I may ask?

[Steve's eyebrows furrow a bit at that.] Multiple Earths? Somethin' like different realities then?

[Oh, it looks like he reached an uncomfortable topic. He looks apologetic.] Sorry, didn't mean to bring up something that bothers you.

Me? I... recently joined the army. [The super soldier thing was supposed to be confidential, right? He really shouldn't talk about that too much with someone he just met.] Just working my way through boot camp, training myself to join World War II.

Yeah, I guess so.

[He shrugs half-heartedly.] It's alright.

[There's definitely a look of surprise at Steve's admission, though.] R... really? [He knots his eyebrows together very slightly; he could never imagine what war is like.] I see. G-good luck... for when you get home. I hope everything turns out alright.

[It's a little strange to think about, but a lot of his concepts of reality have been shifted lately. Might as well add one more.]

Yeah, everyone else was signing up, ready to fight back. Didn't want to do any less. [He smiles a little.] Took a while to convince someone to accept me though. But my stubbornness paid off this time. [He really needs to get back because of this. Although, he still wants to help the people here too.] Thanks, Shinju. Think I'll need all the luck I can get.

I see... [That's a really sobering thought. He thought things were bad enough back home. He was grateful there was no war, at least.]

I'm sure you'll do fine. [But now it's time to change the subject, so--] Have you found anyone here from your world?

[His shoulders seem to droop a little at the question, before he shakes his head in response.] Afraid not. But I wouldn't want anyone I know to be forced here against their will. [Or anyone in general, really.]

I know what you mean. I don't really want anyone from my world here, either... [Though he has some different reasons.]

[Steve figured that Shinju didn't know anyone here either.]
